Compassion and Resilience, May 6th, Tibet House New York City, 4pm-6pm

  • Tibet House 22 West 15th Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues) New York, New York 10011 (map)

We all experience emotional and physical difficulties at various points in our lives. Compassion is not only our ability to bear witness to the difficulties of ourselves and others when they come up, but overtime, it can become the very basis for how we view and hold ourselves within the world. As a result of this we can experience a type of grounded resiliency that can engage challenges with more ease and wisdom, bringing greater efficacy in overcoming mental and emotional habits that cause us unnecessary suffering. Join us for an evening of meditation and discussion, accessing and deepening our connection to the compassionate heart.
